Q: Do you think you're going to get a large new Xbox userbase?

Kudo Tsunoda: Yeah, I think for sure. By the way, I love playing controller games so nothing against our controller, but I think for a lot of people it is very challenging. I know when I go to my house for Christmas I've got a big family of 30 people and they all like playing things like card games or boggle or Monopoly.

I bring my Xbox and it's set up on the TV and I'm trying to get everybody over to play Xbox because that's what I enjoy doing , and they'll come over and they'll take the controller and they know I work at Xbox and they'll be like, 'OK, I'll give it a try', and they don't know what they're doing and they're running around pointing the camera at the ground and they're like 'I don't see why this is fun at all'. So we do this for half and hour and then I have to go back and play card games with everybody and I get to play Xbox one or two hours every holiday.

So, now we're going to get a lot of new people in my family to
try it out. I think it's true for all different types of people now that whether you're playing games, watching movies or listening to music or any of those kinds of things, it's going to be really easy to get in and have fun on our console now and I think you'll just see a whole new type of customer that is enjoying and playing videogames.

Q: How do you respond to the community feedback? Maybe they think it's priced a bit high and want to see it at a bit less.

Kudo Tsunoda: I think the cool thing is, Number 1: all you need is the one sensor. The thing about a lot of other consoles is if you want to play multiplayer you've got to go out and buy more and more different controllers. Every new game has a new peripheral. The amount of money you end up spending on controllers and peripherals is astronomical. You've spent a ton of money on those things and they're cluttering up your house.

With this, all you need is one sensor and everybody can play. I think if anybody totals up the amount of money they end up spending on all the different kind of controllers and peripherals that you have to buy to really get more than one person playing - it's a great deal for the sensor.

It's awesome that it plugs into every existing 360, so if you already have a console you don't have to go out and buy a new console - it just plugs in and works.

And obviously we do a lot of research with our pricing. We want everybody to be able to enjoy Kinect. I think the price is in a good place where if you want to go out and buy Kinect, people can get out and afford it.
