This week on GameStarz … Teddy Hanson, sorry, Mitchell, from The Mitchell Brothers popular music duo tells us about how even real London-based rappers can benefit from a bit of right, proper gaming. You will find that Twin Warriors and Jet Li loom large on the Teddy-scope.

SPOnG: What are your favourite games of the last year or two? And why?

Teddy: My favourite game of the last year or two has been Pro Evolution Soccer on the PlayStation or the Xbox. The reason I really enjoy this game is because it's the most realistic football computer game I’ve ever played as well as being really competitive and you get to fell great all day when you're the winner.

SPOnG: What are your top three favourite games of all time? Any particular memories they evoke?

Teddy: My top three favourite games of all time have to be Streetfighter, Sonic and Pro Evolution Football. I remember when I first got the hang of doing the spinning bird kick with Chun Li, that was my meal ticket after that.

SPOnG: What are your earliest memories of playing video games?

Teddy: I think the first video game I played was on the Commodore 64 and it was my older brother's.

SPOnG: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC or Nintendo Wii? Any preferences, and if so can you say why?

Teddy: I prefer the Xbox because I feel they're ahead of the game when it comes to graphics.

SPOnG: If you don't own one already, will you buy a new-generation console in 2007? And if so, which one(s)? Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Nintendo Wii?

Teddy: I'd love an Xbox 360.

SPOnG: When you are buying a new game how do you make the decision what to buy?

Teddy: I mostly make purchases of games based on recommendations from friends.

SPOnG: Do you play games alone, online with others or multiplayer with your partner, family and/or friends?

Teddy: I play with friends.

SPOnG: If you were given carte blanche to design the game of your dreams, what would it be?

Teddy: It would be a computer game of Twin Warriors starring Jet Li.

SPOnG: What talents could you bring to creating a game? If you had a job with a games development company what would you want your job title to be?

Teddy: I think if I was involved in making a computer game I would definitely want to be involved with the storyline of the game. My title would be Head Script Writer.

SPOnG: What book and/or movie license(s) would you like to see videogame versions of?

Teddy: I would love to see Twin Warriors starring Jet Li being created as a game.

SPOnG: Finally, it’s increasingly rare to see much/any 'positive' press coverage about gaming. There is much talk of videogames being 'bad' for gamers (younger games especially). Do you have any thoughts and opinions on this issue? For example, how do you think responsible/good parents should deal with their children's gaming habits and use? What do you think of the recent decision by the BBFC to ban Rockstar's Manhunt 2 game (by refusing to give it an 18-certificate)?

Teddy: I think as long as games have the age recommendation boldly printed on the packaging then consumers, i.e. parents and gamers have the choice to buy or not similar to music and films.

SPOnG: Any final thoughts, Teddy.

Teddy: Check out our single Michael Jackson off the album Dressed For The Occasion which is out now.

SPOnG: Right, thanks for your time, Teddy.
