A wholly-owned subsidiary of PCCW Japan, Jaleco Entertainment is a publisher of interactive software entertainment for console systems, PC, and online gaming. The company is based in Buffalo, New York, with European headquarters in London, England, and also maintains developmental studios in Boulder, Colorado; St. Petersburg, Russia; Tokyo, Japan; and Toronto, Canada.

Jaleco's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1988 title, "Racket Attack" (NES).

The company has been involved titles released on the PC, DS/DSi, PS2, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, PlayStation, Dreamcast, Game Boy, SNES, Amiga, NEC PC Engine, NES, C64, Spectrum 48K and Amstrad CPC. Of these, "Carrier" (Dreamcast) has been a best selling title.
