Founded in January 2009 by former team members of Incognito Entertainment, LightBox Interactive is an independent game studio whose founding members are have been making games together for 12 years. This core group has made significant contributions to the games Twisted Metal:Black, War of the Monsters, Warhawk and all of its expansion packs.

Lightbox's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2012 title, "Starhawk" (PS3).
