Nick Koziupa, Brian Westergaard, and Dave Eberly set up Azo in 2009 with the aim of developing video game titles and middleware solutions for console systems, personal computers, and handheld devices. According to the launch release, "The team plans to develop intellectual property in-house and in conjunction with strategic partners in the music and entertainment industries."
