Established: 1981

Founded by Philippe Ulrich & Emmanuel Viau, French company ERE rapidly became renowned across the country for their impressive productions for the Oric and Amstrad. With the release of the Atari ST the company swiftly moved onto the platform to product further impressive title, such as Bubble Ghost and the visually impressive Captain Blood, a title which was quickly released on the Amiga.

In 1986 the company was aqcuired by the French giant Infogrames, leaving ERE's key staff open to found Exxos, the former name of the famous Cryo.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

ERE Informatique's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1985 title, "Pinball Wizard" (Amiga).

The company has been involved titles released on the Amiga, Oric, C64, Spectrum 48K and Amstrad CPC.

The company's most recent involvement was on the 1988 release "Pacific" (Amstrad CPC).
