Set-up in 2003 to serve as the as the publishing arm to the Australian videogame distributor Home Entertainment Suppliers Pty Ltd (HES), Tru Blu Entertainment has established itself in the sport genre of titles.

As an official licensee of the Australian National Rugby League (NLR), the publisher debuted with its record-breaking Rugby League game, released on PS2, Xbox and PC.

Followed quickly by UK "Super League" variants of the NRL Rugby titles, the company has continued to cover the Australian sports market with Australian Football League licensed titles "AFL Live" on PS3 and Xbox 360, and "AFL" on Wii, and Don Bradman Cricket 14 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)
