Cauldron, based in Bratislava, Slovak Republic was founded in 1996. Its first game Quadrax became the most successful logical game in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and in 1997, its second title Spellcross became Game of the Year across the two countries. Spellcross was consequently distributed worldwide by SCi. Other successful titles include Battle Isle: The Andosia War, which had worldwide distribution by Blue Byte. Cauldron was also the developer of the 3D Cloak engine.
