@Mac4_2o
you talk crap dude your not a gamer your dumber than the person that wrote the story still i can sit back enjoy my next gen gaming i know that im a true gamer.
as i said ms was not let gaming critcs play around on it if it was fake fact.

they would not show it to millions of people if it where fake because they are the second biggest console selller in the world.

ofcoarse i could go and buy a motion sensor from sony with a pink ball on the end of it lmfao you stick out like a sore thumb fanboy.
i got both consoles and there both good for different reasons so i suggest you get of your pentium3 and try buying one and then enjoy the fruits of being a true gamer.

and i support both consoles for different reason because they both have pros and cons like any tec i agree.
your right there so maybe your a hypocrite.

Oh some of you people need to chill.

I think its fake. Mostly cos the chic cant act to save her life.

Don't you just hate the way PM talks also? He's such a bastard.

He's done well tho, and if this virtual kiddie ends up as good as this acted video, then good on him.

Oh, for Christ's sake, it's a promotional video, not a live demonstration. Of course it's staged to some extent, like all those adverts of people playing games with happy looks on their faces, but with an unfortunate detail of their consoles being turned off.

The video isn't real, the tech is, as confirmed by many press outlets who interacted with Milo first hand. Yes, even the darned ripples in the pond.

If you check the official Microsoft video here ***n00b weblink removed*** />
At 1:24, the animation on the monster's arm plays before the kid raises his arm.

Sorry if someone has mentioned this but I've not read it so far.

Personally, I don't think that this is a fake and think that despite the fact that most people will buy one anyways, it's just destructive to the brand!

This so called pond / water fake...... Has anyone considered that you can wave your arm faster in the air than you can in water? Water is denser than air therefore, there will be lag between the movement of the arm and the ripple. Staged or not, that means the video is accurate! I know which one I believe!

I also read that the chap that did some development work (unofficial) with the Wii ( ***n00b weblink removed*** has been involved with the project. Appologies if this is incorrect also..

I don't know why I read this really or why I'm posting but I just hope Xbox fans who are excited about Project Natal just keep reading the official posts. I'm not reading any more of these so called fake articals any more!

You're basically saying then, that no matter how cool it really will be (even with this being faked or not) you would never buy into it and thus you would rather return to your cave after visiting the Internet Cafe to post your anti-whatever-console-you're-against rantings.

Well, have fun! Be sure to beat Helga on the head and drag her home by the hair for me!

Someone please explain to me what so special about this? Not being an dick, but the eyetoy can do the same thing with the water and the ripples with that aquawhatever game for it. That new eyepet game can recognize drawings and turn them into toys for the pet (or so I am to believe since it's not out yet). And the whole interactive game character was done already, though not as advance as this, with the Dreamcast game Seaman. SO...what's new that sci-fi authors have not even imagine about and put into words???

you gotta admit it did seem scripted and the fact that they didnt do a live demo like the ps3 motion controller or the wii with red steel two that made me wonder. It does seem cool but if it ever comes out the price tag is goning to be insane and has any one noticed that microsoft wants to be a bigger wii they have those avatars that look like miis or what ever there called and the motion thing demo looked like a wii soccer game. I dont want to be a hater but here it comes microsoft lacks ingenuity they have two origional games and everthing else they either bought a smaller developer or buy exclusives sony has its own minor league farm system and the wii leaches of the great franchises of the past well ive rambled on enought and im sure that the next few posts will shout fan boy but go ahead

Damn taking this so serious slow down there cowboy his only giving you his point of view the truth is I also didn't think it was that impressive, I have an xbox I'll admit to loving it the first time I saw it but now I just don't see the reason for this I have a nephew I just talk to him and ask him if he did his homework and help him then to waste my time with a digital character, I'll stick to playing Halo and Gears with him and about the playing with out holding a remote, don't think thats ever going to stick maybe only family games but I think that "project natal" is only going to be a remote to go through your menus and and will be be just cool to say play and pause to a movie.

If you guys really can't see the staged acting at 2:37, you're blind. Virtual Claire's left hand moves before real Claire does. Hardly enough for anyone to actually care though...
