yeah I saw that yesterday. But they didn't out sell buy a huge number, most likely a new game came out and pushed their sales. Anyway by E3 ds will be back under the psp guaranteed.

Well of course the poor people like you don't like psp. You can't afford it so you buy a cheaper ds and complain. PSP is for the upper class not lower class. Pitiful, i'll let time tell wether psp destroys nintendo or not. OOH I just found out the reason why ds went ahead in sales in japan was because they added some new color unit, lol. Well when psp does the same thing sales will also jump for sony.

PSP is for those coddle kids pretending that having PSP will make them look adult and rich.
but DS is ready for much more "adult" games than just shooting and driving like on PS2 (not that I don't like shooting and driving on PS2, but I need BIG picture and BIG sound and BIG time for these types of games).
DS is much more balanced, mature and useful piece of hardware than 2-hours-and-recharge show-window brick PSP is.
it's not question of money. both PSP and DS are cheap. i personaly have PS2, GC and XBOX, but I would never buy PSP as handheld. I've got used to my small and practical GB Advance SP's 12+ hours airplane sessions with Advance Wars, Fire Emblems, Chess, etc.

anyway. the way you say the thing about nintendos jumpsale just sounds like its like "wow, they sold more because of colour, how cool" in a very satiric way. then right after you say that when psp will come in new colors the same will happen. will you still be the same way by then and be like that?
you say that the ds is for poor ppl. you know, if you are poor, i dont think you would spend money on games at all. maybe you didnt think that far, i dont know.
id rather think like this. why spend $250 on just a system, when i can get a system and 4 games for that system for the same price? id rather choose the second option. why? because i like playing games, not just watching the screen.

the fact that the psp is even selling is mostly because it can play movies and music, which in my opinion is the most stupid things to add at all. i dont want to buy movies one more time, and watch them on a tiny f**king screen. if i want to watch movies on a tiny screen ill buy a 5" screen tv for 150SEK (about $20).
give me ONE good reason to buy the psp. and one not to buy the ds.
the ds is built for games, and the games i have played so far have been veeery good. im very excited about metroid prime, and i cant wait to see animal crossing on the ds. yummy!

Just to add what games can you be playing SilverDogg that are sooo great on ds. Mario 64 ds is a port of a 10 year old game, wario ware ds is a port of a gameboy advance game and they just made it touchable, and I hope your not talking about Yoshi Touch & Go. Metroid prime (which will be hughley watered down from the gamecube version) is about the only good one in the bunch. Then when you ds owners think your getting a new game they announce nintendogs and mario kart ds. oooh my god you ds owners really are the handheld gaming ghetto that kaz was talking about at GDC.

Aslo just add psp don't have ports they have franchises that have been refined for psp. Tony hawk is the console version but with added features and levels, a port of that would be on ds with watered down graphics and less levels cause they can't fit that much info and a flash card or cartridge.

i dont know what you think with, but it certainly isnt the brain, if you even have one.
first of all, yes, there are addons to the gba and ds so i can watch movies on those systems. do i want them? f**k no. i dont want that crap. like i said, i want to watch movies on big screens, not tiny f**king screens.
