when you bought the ticket for an airplain travel, then you think : "I am going to buy a UMD for this travel, how much will it cost?" Then in your next trip youll say: "ok ill buy another UMD movie". If i have a lot of money thats fine with me, but this is not the way most of the people think.

No, I'll be thinking "I'll put that ripped movie from my DVD collection on the memory stick".

Full length movies at good quality come in around the 700Mb mark (depending on running time, of course)
With the PSP screen being relatively low res, upping the compression might see two movies on a 1Gb stick. Dunno. Will have a play when the gig stick turns up.

Oh, they're not so bad, if you brew them into a "nice cuppa tea" rather than necking them like chewy s**te-flavoured crisps.

...or that's what I've heard.

Do you, like all the cool kids, have a Laserpod yet?

See it here.

I would have joined in the discussion, but that GBA Classics ad wouldn't go away...

I gave up hinting years ago. "Buy me one of these" I say now. Do I get what I want? Do I fudge!

eBay your useless pressies and buy what you want in January. It's the only way to fly. Tell your mother that your socks didn't fit and you got them replaced with a crossbow at the local M&S. Works every time!

Well, much as I hate to bring this thread back on topic. It appears that Amazon are no longer listing the PSP. At least not on the UK site.

Maybe we scared them away! :-)

Based on Sony's reasonable and measured response when we speculated on the price of PSP, I'm guessing that maybe they had a word with Amazon.
