Where's the "going out and getting messy drunk, scarfing a dirty kebab and having slutty sex behind a dumpster - all of which you'll regret the following day as you simultaneously vomit, s**t battery acid and scrat furiously at your groin" option?

It's May Day holiday, for the sake of the gods!

Instead, I voted for "playing a game", which is of course GTA4.

We're in Wakefield for the sake of the gods - therefore, none of the stated activities are in any way specific to Bank Holidays.

I'm not saying what I voted it for... but mine was more in hope than certainty.

I'm playing through Banjo Kazooie and maybe starting Banjo Tooie (my fav 1p game) again this weekend. Man, I love bank holidays!

Have a good weekend SPOnG.

Just got my grubby mitts on my copy of GTA IV last night...let a friend of mine start playing it...it looks pretty good, some visual flaws...I guess thats what you'd call them.
No lock ups reported among my circle (3 who've played the game on 360) so far.
I already like the way the NPCs respond to you, seems like they have more than one way of saying the same things, and I was tickled to death by Little Jacob's approve'val when I and I turn da Reggae sta'shon on for 'im, mon.

Bah! It's all to be poor Tuff Gong (yes, the clue is in the title) versions of the Marley clan... where's IRoy? Where's Prince Far-I? Where's Dr. Alimantado, Alton Ellis, John Holt, Cyclones with Count Ossie, Gaylads?? Call that a reggae station... might as well play The Police, Eric Clapton and Don Carlos doing Blowin' in the Wind. Makes me want to sulk.

At least the jazz channel appears to be bothered slightly more - the version of A Train is jolly fine - if you haven't heard the Sarah Vaughan version... and Move is a good way to get people into the one great American contribution to popular culture... yeah... jazz.... nice...

Erm... and ting and [Mark, insert some young person's lingo here someone to make me sound cool and fewer old].

Be-bop-de-wop-de-scat, to you cats.

Ill be seeing Björk, and Nick Cave.

Not socially, of course, but in a gig situation.

Bjork was cancelled.

Seetickets, the low down scummy f**king criminals I bought the tickets from will refund "The Face Falue of the Tickets" - but not their fees - if I return them at my own expense. So I missed a concert I was looking forward to, and got burned for £15.

Other ticket agencies don't follow this crooked practice, they return all your cash. So if you are ever buying tickets, don't buy from See Tickets.
