Well, if the sales keep up as they are and third parties are slowing noticing that. Iwould say to Sony, pull the plug on the gaming part and promote the movie-music part.

The DS/hackers is/are slowly sucking the life out of it...it's getting to hard to look at.

I don't think PSP would survive as just a media player next to the 100gb likes of the Archos range of players and other in the pipeline. The fact it plays games gives it the edge over them already.

Don't let the fact the DS is used by hackers and the like put you off some good gaming becuase the PSP has also been hacked too. I'd be silly if I bought neither and missed some cool games because of hackers. Remember while some use such abilities to produce their own homebrew games etc the only way to combat real piracy is to buy legal product, be it official or import, making sure the developers etc get their cut.

Hacker and pirates never stopped PSone, PS2 or GB from shifting loads.

I'm just going to hold on for that Zero-Point Energy power cell I read about on Gamezdailee.com or GamezIndustrie.biz or wherever it was. One of those really, really reliable "sights".

Maybe that low power Transmeta LongRun tech I read about here might materialise first.
