Oh dear. Not *another* EA Bond game. These people just don't give up, do they?

Are Free Radical part of EA, then? I didn't think they were...

Luckily Sony-heads will soon be able to enjoy Sony's version after MGM's deal with EA expires.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect for PS2, is published by EA and the developer was Free Radical, so I think that this game aslo will be made for EA

"Free Radical has proven itself as a world-class studio by delivering consistently beautiful, exciting and incredibly fun games," said Frank Sagnier, Vice-president Electronic Arts Partners in Europe. "We are thrilled to be working with Free Radical and to be adding a new title to our growing catalogue of externally developed games."

Meanwhile, Free Radical chairman Steve Ellis commented: "Choosing EA Partners as our publishing partner represents a big breakthrough for Free Radical. We're already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of EA Partners, we can reach many new players all over the world."

That's interesting. I thought it was published by Codemasters. Shows how much I know!!

I think that Free Radical are still an independant studio, though?

It's just interesting as I didn't think EA done deals with businesses they didn't own.

hmm I the past they also published Command & Conquer made by westwood studio's, but i think 2 years ago westwood studio's became a part of EA too, also i remember Bullfrog Prod. they made Theme Park World, after that they also became a part of EA, as for both they don't exist anymore, it's just EA now.

Not meaning to sound smart, but both of those studios were owned by EA when they published the aforementioned games. The original Theme Park was made when Bullfrog were part of EA (*has a copy on shelf*).

Everything Or Nothing was good. But that's probably because it exemplifies EAs mantra. We want to own EVERYTHING or nothing.

I'll keep my mind open but I think the Bond license is currently being flogged to death. It's beginning to get a Tomb Raider feel about it though not as bad.

Sometimes a rest more than a year for a title/license is needed for good reason other than taking in yearly xmas sales. Good business perhaps but will it make a good game?

Familiarity can sometimes breed contempt, EA need to learn this. Sooner are later sales are gonna dip when people get tired of it. Happened to Tomb Raider, FiFA, and even Sonic (last time was Sonic 3). 007 needs some R+R.
