Maybe they'll let their N-Gage games appear on the rest of their phone range now? Seems pointless developing the games just for the one phone.

Any Series60 nokia phone can play them as long as it takes MMC cards. Unfortunately, the games are designed for a handheld posture, so playing on a dull cell phone would be enormously annoying.

I'm sure they could easily port the games to other phones that use the Symbian OS, the phone would just need a MMC port or 20-25MB free space for the game.

Besides, the QD is free with most companies new account activation, and being such a terrific phone (that can play games too) for free is the best deal out there. Might as well just get the ngage...

The only problem with porting the games to other Symbian 60's is that they lack a d-pad.

Hate to say "I told you so" Nokia. Now it's bargain bin fodder. Leave the consoles to the big boys.

What is really needed is a set standard mobile phone game tech that can be used across the various phone types. When this happens mobile phone gaming will have more of a chance to really take off.
