Every single time they release this list for the US, some Nintendo game which they had listed at 1/1,000,000 always comes in and sells around a million copies.
But since this is the UK we're talking about, we all know the rediculous amount of mainstream gamers will throw massive amounts of crap to the top of the charts for ages.
Going by how bad Prince of Persia sold originally though i wouldnt place any money on that game Joji. The first title was fantastic but i seriously wouldnt be surprised if the top three were all from EA.
Dude, do you gwet the feelingthat they got a copy of last weeks charts, and a copy of SPOnG new release list, and then shook them up in a bag, and drew them out football draw style, and assigned a random "odds" on each one.
I mean, Ratchet and Clank 3 Number one, at Christmas. Right... and Burnout 3, I mean, it's good and everything, but it's SO OLD! And it's a number 13 on the way down in the PS2 charts next week. Not even a free blowjob with every copy could make that a Christmas number one.
I'd be willing to help test that theory as long as the BJ is administered by a hot chick from the PR dept.
A blow job is a blow job, close yr eyes!
But my point is economically sound. 87% of people who want Burnout 3 already have it. Another copy would cost them £35, a blow job on the open market costs far less than this. Therefore, it'd be cheaper to just buy a blowjob.
Plus you have the satisfaction that no fat smug EA executive/slave-driver is getting richer off the back of your man-fat spreading.

Think my money'd be on GTA, Half Life or Prince of Persia. Goldeneye and Halo 2 will also do well.
Think I'd be better off betting on the footy instead though.
