Hmmm, reasons why I might not want the "Medal of Dishonour" theme as my ring tone. Let me count the ways.
Firstly because annoying musical ring-tones are annoying. And were I to have one, people might think me as big a friend-less w****r as ll the other chav bastards who have them.
Because, if I were to have a musical ring tone (and not die of shame) I would choose a good song, not some third rate war film themed-game theme.
And lastly, because EA are allready bringing the hallmark of mediocrity to much that they touch. And I'd really rather they left music alone.
I think this isn't so bad. I've become a fan of Fifa games now after purchasing Fifa 2004, and while the game might not be as good as Pro Evo series, the Fifa game soundtracks are really good IMO.
Perhaps now we can see the Fifa 2003, 2004 and 2005 soundtracks released on cd to grace our local music outlets. I have to thank EA for exposing me to a good global mix of music I would of never heard or known about. I'm now a big fan of Kings of Leon, Tribalistas and Babamania as a result.
It also would make sense if they produced other game soundtracks along the lines of GTA and True Crimes, perhaps a Need For Speed Underground 2 soundtrack since they released a previous one, and if it gets more people buying game soundtracks besides other music then so be it. Soundtracks are a part of the market that is largely left untapped outside of japan, so if this leads to more of us getting our hands on them so be it. So long as I get my Fifa soundtracks anyway.
As for other stuff the label has I don't know what is intended for them.
