I don't really get what all the fuss is about... only the WinRT version will the locked down where you'll only be able to buy stuff from the store. But this version will only be available on tablets anyway.

The normal desktop version of win 8 will be pretty similar to win 7 just with a new interface and a store, oh and no start button. I don't see how any of these are going to affect PC games...
