i think the author was referring to the GBA's pokemon and spongebob cartridges, and not the DS, although i agree that they have to do better if they are to attract the post-teen gamer.

Can understand them not doing what Sony, and several other dedicated media players are gonna do. When video media players are wide spread there'd be not much point, though a welcome option.
