No word yet on how the DS will be backed in the UK and the rest of Europe

With an approach like the above in the UK, I bet three old biddies will complain to OFFCOM and get the "sexual undertones" removed from our nice, clean airwaves.

Same three who complained about the excellent XBox "life is short, play more" advert.

Speaking of games adverts, we really are descending into Carry-On style adverts with "it's good to play together" (fnar, fnar) and "touching is good" (snort, fnark).

I long for the innuendo-less days of "Psyco Pigs UXB" and "Barbarian"!!

Nice of them to roll out the barrel for the launch.

They really should be careful with that "Touching Is Good" slogan. If the ads are aimed at adults and most people associate games as kids stuff, there are some nasty deviants who might get the wrong idea and start roaming schools trying to .....well you get the dark picture.

Hey kids, "Touching Is Good", apparently. Hope MJ isn't on their marketing team.

Beware of innuendo Nintendo, it's a double edged sword that might cut you back. How about something selling the DS as a whole not just the touch screen. It has two screens and media slots (one backward compatible), wi-fi, and a mic too.

I remember once upon a time when the original GB was out, Nintendo's advertising was superb (well i thought it was in the u.k anyway). They could yet surprise anyway, and so far I love the japanese ads and would like to see something similar. Fingers crossed they get it right.

I'm pretty sure you can't say the word "ninja" or show fire on British TV. So in that case, Nintendo needs to have a commercial with flaming ninjas running around playing DS for no reason whatsoever.

You know. Just to see what would happen.

The word "Ninja" was removed from the Teenag Mutant Ninja Turtles back in the early 90s. But now they're back, so is the word Ninja.

And yes, showing fire on British TV makes everyone very angry. er... yes...

Its good to see them trying something new though. Innuendo is good for a laugh and none of the kids will get it anyway.
