Having this kind of stuff is good from a historic perspective (especially if you are teaching about games and culture in a school), and hopefully gameplay wise too.
Hope Koei get some more success out of this game. PS3 seems so close and yet so far.
So how is this any different than any of the other hundreds of hack and slash games released yearly ? Japanese culture I love, rehashing the same stories from not much different perspectives is what is killing Japanese Gaming economy. All their original work is so skewered to the Japanese only market that they cant sell overseas. sorry dont care who makes it, with a description like that it will be average, but more likely below average game with better graphics.

Um, I don't know... but apart from the fact that's it's set in historical Japan, how is this similar to any hack and slash games?
It might be an RPG, or a samurai dating sim or something...
Although TBH, it could well be a hack and slash - in which case the only thing that makes it different is the fact it will be one of the first ones on PS3... probably.
