PS2 Pro Evolution Soccer 4 Confirmed For 15th October Release Date

As for Pro Evo and FIFA 2005 I say buy them both, since both are likely to be too good to miss. I'm looking forward to both.

I think I'll be defecting too, on the merits of Xbox Live...

It does make me feel a bit dirty though. My last 3 PES purchases were all PS2 and that ws the way it was meant to be.

Although if I do hold out those extra few weeks, Konami better not have mapped any controls to those stupid black and white buttons... grrr.

I'm going for the Xbox version too. This will rule Xbox Live with Halo 2 no doubt about that. I think I can wait the extra few weeks, should be worth it.

As for betraying PS2...well I got the PS2 version of Silent Hill 4 so it kinda evens out anyway :p

I dnt no guys...............i dnt really fancy da x-box controller 4 footie games, i find da PS2 way better 2 play on. PES4 looks stunning, n i cant w8 2 get my hands on it. as 4 which 1 i buy, its gonna b PS2, cos i no 4 a fact me bro will but it 4 his X-box.

you can get many adaptors from lik-sang that let you use the dual shock on just about every console, past and present, including xbox (if that was the only issue for not playing it on xbox).

Unfortunately, for Live games you do need an actual Xbox controller if you want to plug the headset in (I don't think there's a way round that yet)...
