FIFA 10 - Huge Patch Described

There are more problems than listed here.

In Manager Mode, transfers have been locked, my balance went from 70million GB Pounds to -2 million pounds (that's right negative) - I can no longer sign any players, even after progressing another season. Manager Mode is the main reason I purchased the game and the amount of faults in it is mind boggling.

I hope there are other fixes that they aren't mentioning here because this isn;t good enough, they are far more glitches in manager mode than those mentioned here...

I played a season of Fifa 10 in Manager Mode, taking charge of a lower league team and the messagers from the board were plain silly. After getting to the league cup final and beating Manchester City, my 'reputation' lost half a star and the board were less than happy. I won the Johnsons Paint Trophy and didn't get a pat on the back. I got to the semis of the FA cup and narrowly lost to Man Utd and my rep suffered again, just like it did when i beat Wycomb away by 3 goals. Stupidly, after a 0-0 home result against Yeovil, the board were happy and gave the half a star back. New Fifa's a great play but there's a lot wrong with the Manager Mode that EA don't seem to know about going by your story.

I know what you mean i am in my second season with oldham athletic, into the europa league final i won that 3 - 2 and my performance was bad and they are expecting me to do better.

Players loaned to the AI team keep the players permanently.

Try progressing on to the next season, staying with the same club, and your budget going from £50 million, to NEGATIVE £2.1 billion. That's right, billion!!
EA need to sort manager mode out, main reason I buy the game!

i started with sheffield wednesday and progressed to the premiership, however having achieved some comprehensive wins against the bigger teams, cup competitons featuring lower league teams or teams at the bottom of the PL are almost unplayable. With far superior strength and speed, i just wondered if its me being an amateur or whether such occurence are deliberately written into the game. I have to say its *******! annoying!

I think manager mode is absolutley pathetic!
Twice I've got half way through a season with Manchester United and twice I've been sacked because I got knocked out of the F.A cup against Arsenal the first time and Chelsea the second. Now, the first time I thought they sacked me because I did have the board difficulty set on 'legendary'. But for my second attempt in manager mode I had board difficulty on amateur and still got sacked. Now, I know its all about realism. As a rookie manager to take on Manchester United the board are not likely to show any leaniency if there to be knocked out of the FA cup, except IF THERE TOP OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE BY 12 POINTS WITH 3 GAMES IN HAND!! Honestly, I cannot beleive this. Its a joke, I just want to play as Manchester United on top level , competeing in all major tournaments throughout a 15 season challenge of trying to gain success in these major competitions without worring about getting the sack if I dont win for every single match every single second!!!! I've read loads of forums and I cant believe how calm people are being over this, no-one has expressed hardly any dissatisfaction about this!!! Why couldnt the board difficulty just of been made an option to turn on/off. Honestly I own both PES and FIFA and prefer FIFA but this just takes the biscuit!! Im telling ya! Why in god's name should I waste my GODAMM time playing through over half a season TWICE in manager mode only to get the sack for the most pathteic reasons. I'll put my copy of FIFA on the shelf until EA do something about this. Its just unbelievable, ALL I WANNA DO IS PROGRESS THROUGH SEASONS PLAYING AS MAN UTD!!!! I've paid £27.97, WHY CANT THIS GAME WHICH SO BOLDLY BOASTS ABOUT BEING "the best football simulation game ever" Do just one of the basic functions like its predecessor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????/

i agree and they need to bring out a big patch for manger mode and fix it as im still playing as a league 1/2 team and i tried to buy 10 players at once and all of them were rejected with either "------scoffs at your offer" or other stupid comments even though i offered lots of money and wages to all! Also did anyone get the bug where after every game the players are rotated even though assistant coach was turned off! SORT THIS OUT FIFA!!!!!!

I Just started my 3rd season with real adrid in manager mode and went from £56million to Negative £2.4billion!!!!! What the hell??? How is this fixed?? It has happened twice to me!!

Whats the differerence between a team scoffing at the offer and the offer being ridiciulous

Experienced exactly the same thing. Sent an email to EA about it and they told me to post it on the Forum, did that and got absolutely no reply. Pathetic customer support, ignoring the problem won't make it go away.

I hear it, I just finished my third season with Real Madrid and my budget went from 120 million euros to negative 2.1 billion euros too, and yes, BILLION!
My annual player salary allotment also dropped 600,000 when i bought no new players and i renegotiated very few contracts. Also, the main reason i bought the game. not happy.

i bought fifa 10 onli for manager mode and every year i hope that they would fixed one little glitche that bugs me more than any other glitches ....goals scores in the cups games ..fa cup ..carling cup etc dosnt count and also they need have tatal the amount of goals score by an player until they are sold or retired....eg real world wayne rooney to date has 100 goals for man utd and thierry henry has a total of 150 or more goals for arsenal .... PLEASE WE NEED THOSE PATCHES ADDED.
