Bioware Confidence Rocked as Producer Asks Fans if Mass Effect 4 Should Be a Prequel

I don't think it's a case of Bioware losing confidence, more trying to get fans opinions of what they'd like in the game before they start to make it. That's pretty much what Bioware is about, taking fan's ideas and passions and making them a reality.

If you're not out to please your fans then you won't really get far, cause let's face it, without the fans companies wouldn't exist!

This isn't out of character for Bioware, even if they don't always stick to what the fans say en masse, they do pay attention to, and ask for, consumer feedback. Usuaully in the form of the Bioware Social Network or a survey, but Twitter has become an amazing medium for the devs to communicate with the fans directly.
