Oh, the stories I could tell you about Orange. They're another company on "Adam's hit list".

Trying to get anything out of Orange, even the products you've paid for, is like trying to have a coherent conversation with a breezeblock.

Everyone I know who used to be on Orange has moved to more reliable and customer-friendly networks, such as O2.

OK. Now I feel bad. Orange called, and they were super-helpful. New phone arriving tomorrow.

O2 on the other hand made me try and pull my hair out. Only the fact that I have an all-over buzz-cut saved me from self-inflicted alopecia. BT used to have the world's worst customer service, but then they sold off O2, and all of a sudden BT service improved one hundred million times. But I now know why, they sold all the evil retarded customer service agents to O2.

I had two phones with O2, one on O2 Max (1000 minutes a month) and one on O2 250 (250 minutes). But they put the wrong tariff on each phone, so on one I had 750 unused minutes every month, and on the other, I was getting charged for 1600 EXTRA minutes a month. This was costing me LOTS. I had two phones, but they were charging me three amounts a month.

It took 47 calls to their customer service to get it sorted out. Every time I called business customer service, I was told that i had an O2 "ON-line" account, and given a different number. Every time I rang that number, I was told I had a Business account and told to ring a different number. Every time I was internally transferred the call got dropped. O2 is the jism-drips of Demon seed from Mrs Satan's fanny.

I moved to Orange. Orange is lovely.

Thought I'd add my monies worth. First off I'd agree O2 have got a lot to learn about customer server, although not quite as much as 3.
However T-Mobile take the biscuit in my book. I had a Siemens SL45 a couple of years back, one day I dropped it and the screen cracked. So as I had insurance I made a claim and guess what they sent me? ................ One of those tiny Nokia 8000 series that didn't do anywhere as near as many things as my SL45. They told me that the SL45 had been discontinued, even though it was new out about 6 months before hand. Cut a long story short after 6 weeks of sending letters back and forth, I wrote one to Oftel, the next day a brand new SL45 turned up 8~)

Back on topic, I think the T-shirt should just have the SPOnG logo on the front, maybe available in different colours, then have the username across the shoulders. Then people who wanted it could have their avatar in the middle on the back.

Orange are vial.

I can never seem to get what I pay for out of them.

I bought a phone and a Text Saver pack. The pack didn't turn up. Two months later and about 11 phone calls and Orange sent the pack.

Bought another pack the next year. It didn't activate on my account. Took another month to convince Orange I had actually bought a pack.

My mum bought a phone direct from them. It said it had a signal but wouldn't do anything. My mum had her number transferred to the new SIM. After about two weeks of phone calls, and waiting for their technical support people to confirm the phone was faulty, and a visit to the local Orange shop we were told that the Orange shop and Orange shop online are not friends. Eventally on day 26 we took advantage of their 28 day money back policy and sent the bugger back. Orange refused to transfer my mum's number and credit to a new SIM and she lost them. Not impressed at all.

I'm on Virgin now. They're good. You get through to people who actually appear to care, they ring you back if you ask them to and their support is a flat 10p for however long it takes them to solve your query. The only problem I've had is that they refused to replace my broken phone covers even although the phone was only a few weeks old and barely used. But overall, top notch.

Biggest problem with Virgin: T-Mobile. Their network is worse than Orange's. My area is rated as "excellent" coverage, dispite the fact that I have next to no coverage and can't make a phone call at home because the network is incapable of connecting.

a black one with the large skull and cross bones space invader of spong on the front, and spong across the back would be quite brilliant.

I used to be on Orange, didn't have too many problems with them, so I didn't really have cause to get in touch with Customer Service. Reception at my office, however was a different matter entirely. To get the barest of signals I had to prop my phone on the windowsill, sitting against the window, about 5' from my desk; when it rang I had to keep my head near the window to maintain the connection.

I would go to the network service map and see that the whole of the town I was in had full excellent cover, then one day I thought I'd zoom in a bit closer. Step by step I got closer and closer, adjusting for the new detail level the map showed each time; finally I was at maximum zoom over where my office building is, to find to pure white squares showing zero coverage. Turns out I was in an interference spot where two cell tower signals overlapped.
