Eternal Darkness is VERY good. So, SO good. Get Resi 4 (of course, when it comes out) as i've not seen a review below 9/10.

Tales of Symphonia and Paper Mario 2 are givens for RPG fans. Wind Waker isn't everyone's cup of tea, so be careful.

Get Animal Crossing. It will eat your soul and has no card reader stuff, but is STILL amazing.

Mario Kart is OK. Not amazing, but OK. As has already been mentioned, SSB:M is essential. You already have Donkey Konga, so that's good.

Mario Party, if your sort of thing, is better at version 4 than 5.

Almost forgot: Billy Hatcher is a hidden platforming gem. Trust Sega. Warioworld and the Sonic Adventure games are short but sweet also.

I never saw a review lower than 9/10 for Driv3l - but then I only read Future mags, where every review is bought and paid for.

Surely you don't include the Gospel-esque EDGE.

Did Edge review Driv3r? If so, what they give it?

I'm pretty sure it was 3/10.

I can confirm that Resident Evil 4 is excellent. It takes the series in a new direction while still keeping some of the conventions of the old versions. It also still has the "more luck than skill" aspect in places, too.

However, equally excellent is Resident Evil 0, which was retailing at £10 last time I checked and is out in the UK.

I didn't like Ethernal Darkness. I found it quite gimmiky, and after you get over the sanity bar aspects there wasn't really much to it. Paper Mario 2 is pretty poor for the first few levels and then becomes better, but it's nowhere near as good as Mario and Luigi.

I just checked. Issue 139, August 2004 (Tekken cover). It got 3/10.

Indeed it is :)

Completed Resi 4, going back to Code Veronica

Is that Normal? I finished it last week and have just restarted it on Pro. Those feckers are proper evil now. They don't piss about, just run up to to you and start hacking/ stabbing/ strangling. It's excellent.

And Code Veronica I loved. May have to to dust off the DC.

I'm just about to restart on Pro with Leon's RPD uniform.

I liked Code Veronica, although I don't think I have enough ammo to finish the game - I'm right at the end. I think that Resi 4 and 0 are better than Code Veronica though.

I agree, Resi 4 is way better than CV (but it's way better than most games), but I haven't played zero. Might have to look into it.

I didn't quite finish CV first time around either. Don't want to give away spoilers in case you didn't get that far, but a certain boss near the end just wiped the floor with me. More resolve needed.

I'm in the ice place the 2nd time with Chris.

CV is very good though, I just love the dialogue between Claire and Steve.
