I have to say, Fable got old, fast.

im pretty dissapointed by it and more than a bit cheesed i spent a fair bit of dough on it too. thing is I really like Moneleux's ideas like everyone else but he rarely seems to have ideas suitable for the games he wants to make. Black and White was proper bo but this games ambitions were...stunted by the process of actually making games.

ah well, it has potential to evolve into something nifty but right now its pretty boring.

The last boss was lame. The fact quest prompts kept a'comin' was lame. But i still love that game. It was just so well balanced; the humour was excellent, getting all the doors was fun yet irritating, and some of the quests (Hobbe cave) popped up again and again at the guild... I just loved it. Especially wandering around a town and having EVERY LIVING ADULT BEING try and chat you up. Plus, sex was hilarious. I'd have like to be able to have kids, however.

Killzone was being hyped as "the PS2 Halo" for years before release. It didn't even match Fire Warrior, review-wise. The AI was awful, all those extra PS2 buttons STILL didn't allow you to jump... bad, just... bad.

And yeah, every tomb raider except the first i've found a little crap. And i only like the first because of nostalgia.

Not sure they reviewers were right, though. I though Firewarrior was tedious to the point where I just gave up out of boredom.

I replayed a good part of it mid-last year (along with a good part of TR2) and it still a great game.
It'd be interesting to see it recycled on PS2 using the TR:AoD (Crystal Dynamics TR7/SoulReaver) engine.

I borrowed fable off a mate, and it was...fun I guess. But even stretching it made the game short. And the game gave me no strong connections to my sister so I had no reason to not kill her and keep the most awesome sword in the game. Which I did.
