Well i'm looking forward to STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, i'm going to buy that one for sure, and also Operation Flashpoint 2 (but this game is for 2006)
Wich games are you going to buy for sure this year ?
DRIV3L is coming out on budget next month. Maybe it'll get 12/10 from some cruddy Future magazine, what with it being still oh-so good and yet cheaper this time?
Resi 4 (arrived this morning!) Zelda (we are promised) Mario 128 (ditto) STALKER Oddworld Stranger (tell us more about it, Kid_77) Ico 2 Killer 7 Yoshi's Touch and Go (and hopefully a handful of innovative little gems for the DS)
...and possibly a couple of Xbox 2 launch titles, come December
we dont believe you ... please provide evidence of this ( screen grabs pls :)
Here's the evidence, scanman :)
Who is that devilishly handsome man?

Well, I've only put in a couple of hours, but here's my brief interpretation of it so far:
Stranger is a bounty hunter, and he earns his moolah (the games currency) by tracking whoever’s wanted at the time.
It's a smart game. The use of humour in games is usually delivered poorly (or lacking sophistication), but Stranger's doesn't try too hard, and the effect is a natural quirkiness.
The ability to switch between 1st and 3rd person isn't groundbreaking, but in Stranger's it's a vital part of the play mechanic. In 1st person you use your crossbow, and the control is more precise. In 3rd person you use melee attacks, and you can run (on all fours!) very fast - this is a very cool feature, you build up speed until your absolutely bolting it - which you can use to jump large gaps, and ram enemies.
Your crossbow can hold 8 different ammo types, with effects ranging from tracking mines, to restraining webs. The bow can only be loaded with two ammo types at once, and this requires the player to use halo-esque tactics. The damage an ammo type inflicts is also important, because the amount of moolah you get for a job depends on whether you return the bad guys dead or alive.
It has a well-implemented stealth factor; a radar shows you NPC's and enemies, and also their line of vision. But stealth isn't always mandatory; you can opt for a more cavalier tactic in most situations, should you wish.
I've only seen the tip of the iceberg, a friend who's completed it tells me it's a huge and varied game, so I can't wait to see how it pans out.
I'm going to get World of Warcraft, Resi 4, possibly KOTOR 2 and I'm pretty sure FF12's out this year, but then i'm pretty sure it was meant to be out last year.
Resi 4 DoA: U Zelda Area 51 looks good. might consider that X men Legends 2. if thats out i quite fancy it as the 1st is neat. KOTOR 2. im part way through the 1st. good s**t =0
