Yesterday, LittleBigPlanet got a brand new downloadable content pack in the world of Pixar's Toy Story. In addition to 9 new levels full of materials, decorations and stickers, the new DLC pack features music by Winifred Phillips, the composer of the "Victoria's Lab" and "Eve's Asylum" levels of LittleBigPlanet 2.
The music of the Toy Story DLC pack includes a big band jazz theme, a rousing orchestral sci-fi track suitable for space missions with Buzz Lightyear, and an interactive blue-grass track that's perfect for cowboy adventures with Woody and his pals.
LittleBigPodcast has done a fantastic series of playthrough videos of the Toy Story DLC pack, and they really liked the music. Here's a gameplay video that features the interactive blue-grass track:
Composer Winifred Phillips is a winner of the Hollywood Music in Media Award, and the Interactive Achievement Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. Winifred was sole composer on LittleBigPlanet 2: Toy Story, working with award-winning music producer Winnie Waldron on the music for the DLC pack.
