If you've been watching American television lately, then you may well have seen the
new TV spot advertising Tetris DS. If you haven’t caught it, then we urge you to take 15 seconds out of your day to check it out.
With stunt work worthy of the best Simpson-Bruckheimer Hollywood blockbuster, we watch as two planes unload their cargo of differently coloured-parachutists. And yep, you guessed it, the like-coloured parachutists join together like a highly dangerous-yet-real game of Tetris, falling through the skies at high velocity.
Tetris DS is out in the U.S. on March 20 and is sure to sell by the bucketload. The item formerly known as Nintendo DS Kiddycrack Wonder Toy will soon be re-named simply The DS Crack Pipe at SPOnG Towers, just as soon as we all get addicted (again!) to Tetris DS.
Also check out the wonderful Metroid Prime Hunters DS TV spot if you missed that one too
by clicking here.Nintendo has certainly moved on in the world of TV advertising from its early days in the 1980s, when they unleashed such corkers as
this baby to promote the NES Zelda – complete with white boy rapping and big metal teeth-braces.
