Final Fantasy XII details emerge!

Ok, we know it’s a while off but some interesting detail has emerged from SquareSoft Guru and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi about FF XII. We know that Final Fantasy XI will be an entirely online affair very much in the style of Sega’s impressive Phantasy Star Online. What has come as a shock is that in a recent interview, Sakaguchi revealed that Final Fantasy XII may well return to the roots of the series and be a completely off-line gaming experience. The title will be headed up by Sakaguchi and directed by Yasumi Matsuno, the director of Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story.
