ELSPA volume sales awards winners announced
The ELSPA has recently announced its winners for software titles that managed to break the 300,000-sales mark.
Last year only seven games managed to accomplish that feat.
The seven titles to win the prestigious platinum awards are as follows: Gran Turismo, Who wants to be a Millionaire, Tomorrow Never Dies, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow and finally, WWF Smackdown 2. Smackdown’s success is all the more impressive because it was only released in December… but it went straight into the record books as the fastest selling title ever.
It seems that a round of applause is in order for the winners, the developers, the publishers and the consumers, (that’s you). Sniff, because without you, none of this would have been possible. Thank you.
