It’s a weird world when average Xbox 360 addresses sell for what are comparatively bog bananas, with this auction on headline-generator Ebay catching our eye this morning.
As you can see, the auction is for the.xbox360.discount.store@gmail.co.uk, a Gmail address of barely average proportions, which sold minutes ago for a staggering £300; that’s $514.65 to those in the US.
Having been viewed around 1,000 times at point of going to press, the auction reads, “Demand now is HUGE and there is going to be a lot of money made from trading around the XB360 (sic). A simple, professional, catchy e-mail address will help you a great deal! This address is perfect for anyone starting an XB360 (sic again) related business.”
Do we beg to differ? Can a four component UK GMail address really be worth £300? We have emailed the address in question, so hopefully we’ll get a business progress report on the emerging empire.
