Mother 3 revealed!

Release date confirmed

Posted by Staff
Nintendo Japan has announced Mother 3 is in the works for Game Boy Advance, bringing tingling sensations of joy to the armies of fans of the SNES RPG series.

No details at all were released by NCL, other than the current release date for the game is set for sometime in spring of 2006.

Nintendo watchers will no doubt remember the game being announced as being in the works for Nintendo 64, an expansion to the cancelled EarthBound 64. Of course, the expansion was also canned, in-development as it was for the doomed 64DD add-on.

Check out the logo to the right, unchanged from the N64 release as first seen way back in 1997. The new logo is the high quality image with the red background.
