Sega has announced that it underway with Seaman 2, the follow-up to the really quite odd Dreamcast game in which you spoke to a fish-type thing.
No details have been released to date, other than Seaman 2 will be released for PlayStation 2 and will be shipping before the end of this year.
The game will also ship with 2 bespoke controllers [pictured right] which seemingly feature built-in microphones and, upon perusal of the just-launched official site, Windows and i-mode versions are also planed.
What has come as a surprise is the fact that the game didn’t see a DS outing. It had been known for sometime that a new Seaman game was in development, though it had never been officially announced. A DS game was widely predicted, given the console perfectly lends itself to the touchy-feely voice-controlled Seaman world.
Expect updates and a full explanation of Seaman 2 next week, straight from TGS.
