You may be aware that Tekken is, aside from a WonderSwan license, a PlayStation only franchise. Now let’s have a think for a minute. At present everyone is wondering why, following this bold announcement from Nintendo Power, everyone at both Nintendo and Namco is refusing to comment. The Game Boy Advance is a handheld console. So is the WonderSwan. It is likely that Bandai has exclusive rights to publish handheld versions of Tekken and, considering the company has just launched a new portable, want to keep these rights. No one at either Nintendo or Namco were willing to comment at this stage.
