Metroid DS Hunted out of 2005
Nintendo of America has announced that the hotly-anticipated Metroid Prime Hunters has slipped out of 2005, with a new undisclosed release date of somewhere in 2006.

Originally dated for October, no reason has been given for the delay, though we imagine it’s to add new and exciting features, or something.

Of course, this follows the news that key GameCube RPG Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has also been given the boot, again slated for some point in 2006.

To compensate, Nintendo is offering Metroid Pinball, complete with DS Rumble Pak, in October. Not ideal but not a complete disaster. Let us know your thoughts on Nintendo’s chances of saving Christmas 2005.

Nintendo is letting the ball slowly drop... The delay better mean online play, if not, then they sure have sum 'splaining to do.

Really they aren't going to sell bundles of their stuff at christmas if they have nothing to sell... not every one is all gung hoe about Animal crossing, and an old last gen system.

Please Ninty, don't make me hurl myself off a cliff.

I'm thinking and hoping the same as you, Warbaby. If it's being held to put those online features in then fairplay to them for doing so. Fingers crossed people.

We're are used to waiting that extra with Nintendo anyway and it usually pays off so I have no problem with that. Plenty of other games to buy this xmas.
