Nintendo of America has announced that the hotly-anticipated Metroid Prime Hunters has slipped out of 2005, with a new undisclosed release date of somewhere in 2006.
Originally dated for October, no reason has been given for the delay, though we imagine it’s to add new and exciting features, or something.
Of course, this follows the news that key GameCube RPG Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has also been given the boot, again slated for some point in 2006.
To compensate, Nintendo is offering Metroid Pinball, complete with DS Rumble Pak, in October. Not ideal but not a complete disaster. Let us know your thoughts on Nintendo’s chances of saving Christmas 2005.
