Konami Preparing Tokyo Game Show War Chest

Metal Gear Solid 4 confirmed.

Konami is expected to storm this year’s Tokyo Game Show, with Metal Gear Solid 4 confirmed to headline the key trade and consumer event. It is expected that a video presentation will be employed to debut Snake’s next-generation incarnation, though the PlayStation 3 will be playable at the event so you never know…

Other monsters lining up for Tokyo include playable Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (carrying the Winning Eleven moniker of course) Castlevania DS, Survival Kids for DS, playable WE for PSP and much more…

The hottest rumoured titles, both pegged for PlayStation 3, are a new Zone of Enders game and new Silent Hill. Yes, it is exciting, isn’t it?

Though of course, Metal Gear is without question the one to watch. Sony has historically used Hideo Kojima’s ultraviolent hide and seek series to demonstrate the potential of its upcoming home consoles, so expect a major presentation of the game on September 16.

Another ZoE game is very welcome. Konami need to try some new ideas though. Their are relying on Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and WE series a little too much.

Lost in Blue, will do nicely for the DS along with Castlevania. Konami are still looking a little dry on ideas mind.
