Microsoft Shows Monster Japanese Support This Morning in Tokyo

Microsoft has unveiled a massive list of launch period games for Japan, wowing crowds at its Xbox 360 summit held this morning in central Tokyo. The Xbox project, eager to avoid the apathy problems it has suffered in the past in the region, now boasts perhaps the most carefully regionally tailored line-up the industry has ever seen:

I'm kinda interested a lot,cos this line-up is actually very impressive.If Famitsu says 18% of their readers wants an X360, MS sure is in luck, and considering that being before the official unveiling MS is finally changing things.

well it could be said that some japanese gamers are either brand loyal or just nationally loyal to japanese product (i could easily be wrong). They might be somewhat loyal but they ain't stupid as sale of Sony's PSX PS2/HD thingy in japan will tell you.

That list is enough to convince me to buy one if the original Xbox and Xbox Live haven't already (which they have). Whether that's enough to convince the japanese this time is another thing.

I don't mind waiting til new year for one of these 360s. I'm beginning to think MS is going for the u.s market first in a similar fashion to Nintendo and the DS. By doing so can put you in an important lead against others.
