New Tedious Fake Revolution Controller Images Surface

It must be a Wednesday or something…

Posted by Staff
The Internet seems to be awash with bored people at the moment. For absolute proof of this you need look no further than the rise of self-aggrandising games ‘satire’ blogs and the omnipresent Adobe PhotoShop, both of which concentrate on Nintendo’s Revolution console.

The latest image to surface depicts what looks a bit like a GameCube controller, only PhotoShopped and featuring an unseen gyroscope and an impossible to manufacture touchscreen.

Look, it’s Wednesday okay? We could have brought you the press release from EBT Mobile about its Chinese distribution deal instead. It begins:

SINGAPORE – 14 June, 2005 — ProvisionX, provider of an outsourced mobile gaming service delivery platform for mobile operators, gained a foothold in mainland China by securing a contract with EBT Mobile to use its mobile gaming delivery platform for the distribution of mobile games in EBT stores across China.

See! This is actually interesting news!

And PhotoShoppers! Please do continue to send us your work. We especially like it when they are marked ‘EXLSUVIE!!1!1’ and come with a story about how your friend works at Nintendo.

At least it looks more ergonomically friendly than Sonys PS3 controller.

That first post sounds like they think its real. Please confirm that you realise that it is completely fake.
This pic is indeed old, spong has been very slow recently, that stuff about HD was ancient, other sites reported that about a week ago.
Here's a tip, if you want up to the minute news on sumthin eg Nin10do Rev, try google news, it says how recent a story is so you can tell how slow certain sites are at reporting things.
Sorry Spong, You are the best evaluaters of News but often very slow. Games archive is great though.

I hope to god that the pad doesn't just gave a touch screen, that would be crap and a gyro could be tiring as well if you have to hold it up in the air to tilt it.

Jeez some people have too much time on their hands. Big fat faker.

Why not spend time producing some better gaming ideas than this bs?

Man this fake is lame. Even my NintendoRS disc hoax was better.

This guy probably never had a SNES, due to his utterly inaccurate perception of the placement of the four action buttons and the colour each have. Knowing Nintendo, they'd never change this layout because people are already familiar with it and there's no standard for action button layout.

This is just to comment on one aspect of the fake, because talking about the rest of it is just plain pointless.

It's on the homepage of Spong.

Edit: Aparently they changed it, or my computer is displaying pictures properly. No idea where it went.

They're back!

There was a problem with the sync between our primary server and the remote image server, which meant the primary was pointing the remote server, but the remote didn't have the images. Damn Internetwork flakey route breakage thingies.
