Three Versions of New Zelda in Planning – Two Likely
SPOnG can reveal today that Nintendo has plans for three versions of the new Legend of Zelda game although only two are likely to make it to retail.

The much-trumpeted new outing for Link a video of which you can view here will see a pre-order bonus add-on disc and possibly come in three iterations, Nintendo and retail sources have today confirmed, extending a much-loved tradition of rewarding Nintendo’s oft-downtrodden fanbase.

All of which leaves the question; what will the bonus disc comprise? The potent and generative Reginald Fils-Aime has already stated that the US marketing wing of Nintendo America is currently weighing up possibilities, though right now, the outcome is unknown.

And speaking to SPOnG today, a Nintendo spokesperson said, “Of course there will be a bonus with Zelda. Nintendo understands its fans and knows what they want from a franchise this beloved and brilliant.” Though of its contents, “…that will be announced shortly. As of this moment, there is no final plan.”

So there you have it folks. Expect an announcement in the run-up to the game going on sale in autumn of this year.

Majora's Mask what the hell 'Pilot13' don't you remember that came with the Wind Waker Game Cube Bundle along with Zelda I and II as well as Ocarina of Time.

Here's a link to some guy selling the pack-in disk on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20390&item=8181959976&rd=1

Just in case you still believe Majora's Mask will be the elusive 'extra' disks.

Although you never know, it didn't get a mass release via software means.

I'd say it's most likely a disk containing artwork and perhaps a game soundtrack.

Or maybe a demo disk or something. That would be a first.

It would be fantastic if there was a T-Shirt and a poster included, like with those FFVII packs way back

God you people are so gullible sometimes.

This is a flat out LIE.

Absolutely NO ONE has confirmed ANYTHING to Spong. They are lying.

You're great, Zeo!

You know what was said in every conversation on the planet.

You know every person who works for Nintendo and every person who works for SPOnG.

And you can tell when Nintendo people talk to SPOnG people!

Truly you are The Oracle and we should all just sit at your feet and listen to your teachings. Where can I hear your word oh great one?

Well his name is "ZEO". With a name that powerful, we are but puppets in his game.

Except Spong has no power and doesn't get exclusives.

Do you realize this site is looked at as a complete joke all over the gaming community? It's really bad.

SPoNG has a lot of power, and frequently seems to come up with it's own exclusives. Someone has to make the revolutionary statements and assertions, and SPoNG tends to make them before any other places can even get started.

Even sites, such as the UK's highly-acclaimed and respected The Register, frequently seem to report on game news acknowledging SPoNG as the first source.

What do you mean spong has power?
Sure, they are in the news very often but only because of things like this.
If you look on other gamingsites people always say:
Ah, we don't believe Spong anyway. They are always wrong.

What happens if I preordered the game nearly a year ago?

Could this be because underhand competitors put it about on forums that Spong fabricates stories? You ever heard of astroturfing? This is the flip side of that. A bit like what our friend Zeo does here - he could even be one of Spong's competitors trying to poison the well, so to speak! Plant a bad seed - watch it grow. I know for a fact that this happens, having been told by one of my (guilty) peers over a pint or ten. If I had any documentary evidence, I'd be glad to see him and his dire publication burn in court.
