Ape Escape PSP: Minigame Mayhem First Screens!
What is it about monkeys and minigames?
A good question indeed. Why do monkeys make such excellent minigame characters? They are certainly cheeky. This has been proven since the dawn of time, with many visitors to Gibraltar able to show scar tissue highlighting this adorable trait.
They also look like small, hairy people, like some of those found throughout Yorkshire - only cuter, smarter, and less likely to ‘bray’ you for spilling their pint. The debate on whether people from Yorkshire would actually make better minigame characters than monkeys will unfortunately have to wait for another time.
And so to the point of all this filler copy, the latest screens of Ape Escape: On the Loose for Sony’s PSP. SCEI had promised minigames and has seemingly delivered, with boxing, dancing, racing and snowboarding all thrown into the mix.
The game is confirmed for the US and has cropped up on various Sony Europe release schedules, expected here in the summer of 2005.

The mini-games are like a take on of Super Monkey balls. Still, they are fun i suppose as you probably link up between PSPs. The arrival of Super Monkey Ball on the handhelds will be hot on the trails.
