Speaking recently to GameDaily, girlfriend-chasing Doom old boy John Romero has underlined Nintendo’s next-generation stance, hinting that there will indeed be something more on offer than a computer in a box.
Speaking of all things next-gen, Romero said, “Expect a ton of graphics of high quality. I don't see any revolutions in game design on the Xbox 2 and PlayStation 3, but we'll see something interesting on the Nintendo Revolution and the Nintendo DS is already doing some cool stuff with the dual screens. I truly respect Nintendo's forward thinking.”
Seemingly and somewhat understandably, Romero has been given some kind of brief by Nintendo outlining its base plans for the ever-entertaining Revolution and is offering what is perhaps the first confirmation that things will indeed be changing, hopefully for the better.
Expect all things Revolution, right here, as they break.
