The true genius of Sega is revealed in iDog

SPOnG Discovers the Greatest Thing Ever!
SPOnG loves Sega, though sometimes we wonder why. In the absence of Shenmue 3 and the sub-dismantling of the firm following years of mismanagement, we were starting to think we should have backed Sony and its ‘Play-Station’.

Though in news breaking today, we realise we picked the true winner all along, as Sega reveals the iDog. Yes, that’s right, the iDog!

The iDog is a little portable robot dog-shaped speaker (really) designed to accompany your personal audio set up. This incredible touch-sensitive device dances along to your tunes, and tells you how it’s feeling, using four emotions: joy, happiness, sadness and anger.

As well as being touch-sensitive, it can hear too, using a little microphone hidden away near its doozey. This enables the upright citizen who purchased an iDog to sing soothing songs to his new digital pet.

Click here to see Impress’ video of a slightly malfunctioning unit and then cry yourself to sleep in the knowledge that the entire Sega Toys range is only available in Japan. However, it is a fact that Sega is looking into a global roll-out of its range, so rest assured that SPOnG will join you in praying to the baby Jesus that this happens sooner rather than later.

For reference, Sega’s iDog is launched on April 2 this year for under £22 and comes with the strapline “My Pet Loves Music Too!”

Err.. Thats not "Right-click here", but "Right click here" as in "Alrighty-then, clickest thou herest!"

A left-click is clickage enough to view to video.

Or even "Right. Click here"

Anyways, I've updated the copy, purging the "right" so it maketh much more sense.

I can't believe that this whole thread has gone three posts and no one has exclaimed an, "OH S**T THAT'S COOL!", or even an "OH WOW THAT'S REALLY FUNNY!".

It's all about the click. And I wanna join it. The Right Clickers right? That's the name of your click? I got a great gang name. I could be Optikal Maus! Oh that's cool. Optikal Maus in da hissssaus! Word IS bond yo.

Let me in,... please.

That is surprising. What with Firefox and Nescape being as different as Chalk and Calcium carbonate.
