Rockstar has managed to sell over a million copies of its latest GTA rehash San Andreas, seeing the biggest turn-out of over-18 gamers, or any gamers for that matter, the UK has ever seen.
"This is a magnificent achievement and equates to a staggering estimated value of more than £35 million," said Roger Bennett, director general of ELPSA. "The entire Grand Theft Auto series has been a phenomenal success worldwide, generating sales of more three and half million units in the UK alone. But best of all, this series is home grown, developed right here in UK."
“However, I’m really not looking forward to all the uproar and the endless comments I’ll be forced to make defending its arguably socially unhealthy content it in the coming months,”... Bennett didn’t continue.
