But where are her legs? Is she on wheels? None of the big questions regarding Nintendo’s omnipresent love interest really matter this morning as we take receipt of the first screens from Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS.
The game is described by Nintendo as being an action-platformer and is currently slated to launch as part of the second wave of DS games, in Japan, making the possibility of it becoming a European launch title somewhat high.
From information surfacing today, Peach uses her umbrella as a both a weapon, tool and, somewhat oddly, trusted friend, as she navigates the scrolling environments that look, from first glance, to be something of cross between Super Mario Bros. 2 and Yoshi’s Island; a heady blend indeed.
As of time of press, exactly how Super Princess Peach makes use of the DS’ lower screen is something of a mystery, though we have a request with NCL product analysis which should hopefully be answered later today.
