Nintendo unveils and dates solid line-up for early 2005
Nintendo has today outlined all the forthcoming activity for its two existing consoles, leading up to spring 2005. There's a fairly narrow range of publishers catering for the Cube and GBA in this period, but some of these titles ought to be very impressive. Obviously, all the first party titles will go down very well: like anything Zelda related or Bongo-enabled should; and the second round of NES classics will be snapped up by retro-inclined GBA owners. On the Gamecube front, Capcom will also be proving the value of its input: having already generated a great deal of interest in Resident Evil 4, Viewtiful Joe 2 and the mysterious Killer 7.

There's a sizeable spread of kiddie-orientated titles too, with Rare's THQ-published It's Mr. Pants and Banjo Pilot likely to have the widest appeal. Elsewhere on the roster are potential gems like Advance Guardian Heroes and Timesplitters Future Perfect. It's maybe not as diverse a line-up as that for the PS2 or Xbox, but as PAL territories build up to the release of the DS, there should be plenty of Nintendo goodness to be getting on with.

Here's the Q1 schedule in full:

Quite strange. I see no sign of Metal Slug Advance or Full Metal Alchemist in that GBA line up. I'd have to say I'm looking forward to those so much.

Apart from Kingdom Hearts, Guardian Heroes Advance there is little that interests me, GBA wise. Think I might have to opt for GBA imports real soon, since the GBA light seems to be fading for it already.

Good to see the GC still getting some good product despite it's problems. Next year will most likely be it's last full year so it's cool to see it going out guns blazing.
Mario Tennis, Party and Ghost Reacon 2 are very welcome. RE4 is the most eagerly awaited still for me.

Don't worry lad! This list is 2005 and beyond; Metal Slug Advance is still on course for a November 04 release, I think... I hope...

Not sure about FMA though...
