Nintendo buoyant as profits spike on weak yen
Nintendo has said first-half profit was twice as high as forecast this fiscal as the weakened yen boosted the value of the firm’s US sales, with Game Boy Advance price-cuts powering refreshed interest in the portable.

Although GameCube sales have again slowed, despite misplaced claims from Nintendo representatives to the contrary, the margins NCL affords itself in all territories on Game Boy Advance sales have proven enough to bump up profit expectations by 20%

Which means Nintendo expects to make an impressive $758.9 million in clear gravy by March of next year, not too bad at all.

"Our GameCube hardware business was slightly hurt by price cuts by our rivals ... but we're considering launching a sales promotion campaign for the peak Christmas shopping season and expect to achieve our full-year sales target," Nintendo Senior Managing Director Yoshihiro Mori told a news conference.

Why not package a GBASP with a GC and game, Nintendo? Makes sense and you'd be killing two birds with one stone? Sell it for 99.99- 120.00 and I'm sure they'd move like hot cakes off a bakers tray. Just an idea that might also help push the GBA-GC connectivity more while there's time perhaps. Still be able to use the games long after both consoles disappear from shelves.
