Look everybody! PSP Everbody's Golf pictured within

A mighty spread of PSP screenshots

Posted by Staff
Every handheld needs a golf game, almost as much as a puzzle game, and now we have some real life shots of the screen as it appears in Everbody’s Golf Portable (or Hot Shots Golf as it’s otherwise known) for PSP. There are lots of them, more than you could possibly want, but it’s always good to have all the angles covered.

There’s no release date yet, but as a popular life-sapping first-party franchise, it’s likely to venture forth in the PSP’s early days; when it will surely find plenty of fans to engage in the light-hearted take on the Scottish walking-around-with-a-ball-and-a- stick-whilst-looking-for-a-hole-while-avoiding-the-wife pastime.

Everybody’s Golf titles are usually graced with a cameo appearance or two from Sony celebrities, with Jak, Ratchet, Daxter and Clank all featuring in the latest PS2 outing. We’d expect something similar to happen with this portable version.

If you like golf and or PSP derived imagery, treat yourself. It’s on us.

*sigh* SPOnG can't even manage full size screenshots of a handheld game.

Heh. Given that they're shots from a PSP title, I thyink you might find that those are the full size images.

LOL

Looks good but how will it fair if played for three hours? Will I be forced to squint and tilt to the light like I once did with my GB?

That's the beauty of the PSP. The large wide screen lcd is easy on the eyes. Also it's backlit for even brightness and from what I have seen has a 120* viewing angle, possibly more. I know what you mean, all previous handhelds hurt my eyes because their lcd screen was too small. It's a shame DS doesn't have it's screens bigger, I'll still have to squint. Also it will use frontlight which I don't particularily like but hey you get what you pay for right?

Very nice looking indeed, like the detail on the trees. Should be a great title for the PSP, if the battery can get past the title screen :D Haha.
