GT4 On Track For This Year – Kaz Commits
There has been an unnerving amount of silence from Sony Computer Entertainment regarding the release dates on a global basis for the spectacularly-delayed Gran Turismo 4, Polyphony Digital’s latest epic pixellated petrol burner.

According to IGN’s car section, PD’s man at the steering wheel, the venerable Kazunori Yamauchi, stated 'on the record' that the US will be the first region to see the wax stripped from the game: committing to the release period of some point in November.

And as the Japanese version is set to follow, a just-in-time-for-the-holiday-period release of late December is expected.

As for Europe, the official line is that the game will see shelf-space this year, at some point in December, though this is seemingly increasingly unlikely as the weeks roll on.

As ever, as soon as we find out, you’ll be the first to know.

Good Xmas present for all the boy racing hoods in your town. Problem is I can see this game selling out in the states, which could delay a euro/uk release to the new year. Take that with a pinch of salt though.
